Sketches + Final!

Oh hey kids I decided to scan in the sketch along with the final for this next piece. It’s not very exciting. I came up with a handful of ideas, but wound up doing the first one I came up with… I didn’t really feel strongly about it, but I guess it gets the point across…and that’s about it. I could have gone with one of the ideas I liked more (or a new one) but I wanted to see how this turned out. The finish only took about two hours, so there’s that. ANYWAY, it’s for an article about postpartem depression. Sad lady + crib. WHO KNEW

    That was the worst crit day I've ever had. Ugh.

    I still think the tears in the bottle was a stronger concept!

    Aw D: I agree, the tears + bottle was more interesting, but I wanted to see if I could make something exciting out of it… I guess not :|
